WFM Electrical Services was engaged as the electrical subcontractor for the Home & Life Richlands development. Working under head contractor Armstrong Building, WFM delivered the complete electrical package across a new multi-tenancy retail centre comprising five separate buildings across two lots, with tenancies including Banjo’s Bakery Café, Petbarn, Autobarn, Automasters, and a Caltex service station.

The project required coordination with Energex for a new 1,000kVA padmount transformer to supply the development, with WFM delivering all site power reticulation infrastructure and base build services across the two lots, including external site lighting, carparking, and underground reticulation inc NBN pathways. Each tenancy required its own dedicated distribution board, & NBN PCD with final sub-circuits tailored to the individual fitout requirements of each tenancy.

The project ran over an extended programme from October 2023 through to May 2025. The scope included a significant number of variations to accommodate individual tenant changes and fitout upgrades, including specialist works for Banjo’s, Caltex and Pylon Signage, Petbarn roller door dry fire connections, and Autobarn and Automasters fitouts. WFM completed all works through to practical completion, including full commissioning, testing, and handover of as-constructed documentation.
